Ever-growing corporate hypocrisy is much exemplified by this new age corporate lingo, which I call
'The ASAP Phrases'. Here is a list I hear everyday
Around me, people
don't Walk to a Meeting, instead they Run to Meeting(s)
don't Send an Email, instead they Shoot an Email
don't Summarize, instead they Bottom-line
don't Increase, instead they Ramp-up
don't Offer Solutions, instead they Ask Statuses
don't Forward Emails, instead they FYI
don't have A Question, instead they have A Quick Question
And my favorite..
They want the work completed : Not tomorrow, not after Breakfast but ASAP (courtesy: Shawshank Redemption)
